Will these be worth anything?

I cut the article out of the newspaper of bonds 755th homer and a-rods 500th. I also got the box scores. Will these be worth anything in the future?

Not likely. If anything you should've kept the whole paper.

Probably not. Even 50 yo newspapers on ebay that describe historic events only sell for around 20 bucks at the most.

You will not get anything for the article. You might have gotten 10 to 15 dollars a few years from now if you held on to the entire paper. That is assuming it was a San Francisco paper. If it is a paper from a small town halfway across the country, I doubt you would have been able to sell it.

Agreed - cut articles are pretty much worthless.

The only thing I can think of to make them more valuable if you start making a home run scrapbook, with pictures, articles and the like. Something like that might attract some interest down the line, but a couple clipped articles won't have value when so many undoubtedly have the whole paper, which not only will have the article but will also let future generations know what was going on in the world the day of the baseball historic event.

That is good to hear. If you are collecting memorabilia for your own pleasure, then the only the thing that matters is the value it has to you.
