Worst deal you've seen?

We all like talking about great deals we've seen and taken advantage of, but I'm curious if you've seen any deals so bad they still resonate with you. I remember this one dealer on e-Bay who was selling those gold-bordered Baseball Hall of Fame plaque postcards for a BuyItNow price of $9.95, and was also charing $10 for shipping. He had a few, and each player had their own separate auction. These were also of recent vintage. $10 to ship a post card and $20 for something you could purchase at the site of original purchase for 50 cents! Incidentally, individual cards can apparently be purchased online and through the catalog now.

thats not even that bad i ve seen things on ebay that are like game used ichiro spit for 1500 and the picture was a big glop of spit in a mason jar now that s a stupid ebay item and a rip off

I do remember a wad of gum, I think it was from Edgar Martinez a few years back. That's an entirely different level of stupidity from my case, because the collectable is entirely geared toward the celebrity of the person. Own a unique item of so-and-so. Mine was out of ignorance of the actual market or just plain greed.
