Which Teams made their teams better through trades?
The Phillies (Juan Mateo, Tadahito Iguchi, Kyle Lohse)
The Padres (Scott Hairson, Morgan Ensberg, Rob Makowiak)
The Red Sox (Eric Gagne)
The Yankees (Wilson Betemit)
The Mets (Luis Castillo)
The Indians (Kenny Lofton)
The Braves (Octavio Dotel, Mark Texiera)
The Astros (Ty Wigginton)
The Reds (Jorge Cantu)
The Brewers (Scott Linebrink)
The D'Rays (Dan Wheeler)
The Dodgers (Scott Proctor)
I gotta say...the Best deal this deadline was made by the Theo Epstein.
He was able to get Gagne (although most likely a rental) on the cheap and didn't give up any Top Prospects either.
The Worse move...probably the Twins in trading Castillo for apparently a nodoby who just so happens to be a catcher too.
The Yanks are a close 2nd. They trade the workhorse of their bullpen for a utility player.
