Murray
The reason why: His EQA may be smaller than Killer's but it's only a 5 point difference. Murray lasted longer, and according to FRAA, and FRAR- Murrary was a better defender than Killer too.

Sockeye, why don't you ever provide some analysis into their playing career?

Eddie Murray in his prime was every bit as intimidating as Sheffield was and is. The difference being Murray did it year in and year out for a decade rather than every other or third or two out of three years like Sheffield. While he was no Mr. Sunshine, as far as I recall he was never the self-absorbed distraction that Sheffield has been from his teenaged years as a Brewer SS. Add GG defense and I can see no comaprison once you deflate Gary's "steroid" era clear, creamy stats.

Because I'm not trying to influence anyones choice in this poll. Rather I'm trying to figure out which of these players are more highly thought of and thus higher ranked by the majority of BBF members. If anyone puts forth a strong argument one way or another perhaps it may influence my rankings and cause one player or another to be moved up or down in my rankings.

I haven't quite factored in the whole steroid aspect, but I've been throwing it around in my mind as of late, so... my vote isn't exactly written in stone

Sheffield was more awesome, without taking PED's into account.
