View Full Version : Ohhhh the pitching stinks
Up 4-0 in the bottom of the ninth, give up four runs with 2 men out to the horrible Giants. Not sure, but i THINK it's time for some new pitching. And it's not a situation where you want to bring in so many youngsters to hopefully "build" for the future. They need pitching right away, from some veterans who know how to handle tough situations. I think one more good starter and two good relievers should set them on the right path, at least.

Two things:
1. Can't you wait until we've lost the game?
2. Don't you think Schuerholz has been trying to find some pitching?

The game is in what? In the 12th inning right now? It's still anyone's ballgame.
you just proved my point, whether you realize it or not. If the pitching didn't stink, we'd have no need for extra innings tonight.

I think Bobby should have let Hudson go for the last out. Both of the hits Wickman gave up for runs were not bad pitches they were both down and the hitters just spoiled them.

Either Harris or Jones should have gotten to that double by Feliz too.
But it's true. The last thing Hudson gave up was a rinky-dink single that scored a run. And Wickman wasn't THAT bad. He had 0-2 counts twice. Give a little credit to Feliz and Molina who both hit two-strike pitches. It was just bad luck.

Can't you just chalk it up to bad luck this time?
sure man, we'll say it's bad luck this time...no worries...since we ended up winning anyways.
