Hey, this is my first post on baseball fever. My question is has anyone used the NIke Jordan batting gloves? They look sweet but theyre 50 bucks! I usually dont wear batting gloves (didnt like feel) but i think i need to satrt using them as i move up in my baseball career.
Any suggestions about the gloves?

Ha. i suggest you wear batting gloves. At the current time i have 6 blisters on my left hand because i don't wear them. But then again im old school like that.

i have used these all season and they're great. The leather is the softest I have ever felt. They are pretty durable too. The spheres are similar but have sphere-dri on them. The Jordans are all leather. It depends on what you like go and try them on.

i dont wear batting gloves. last year i did. it was my first, i got 2 hits on maybe 60 at bats. this year i dont, no blisters, and i'm 4-21, but lots more contact.i have a bout 6 groundouts, and 4 or 5 po outs, and every foul i have hit is like massive.

I'm using UnderArmour.. The grip is amazing and its soft leather. I have to use batting gloves...I have 11 blisters on both hands... As for the Jordan batting gloves...Just use what works... If you really like it, then get em ;)

stay away from the jordans and nikes they wont last long. Ive worn holes in all of them
for half the price of the jordans get the Tpx nomars and they will last longer and feel better
THERE NO BETTER BATTING GLOVE IN THE GAME

Love those Nomar gloves... I buy a half dozen when I see them.
Does anyone know what Nick Swisher and Frank Thomas are using for batting gloves? They seem to have two straps that come across the back of the palm and wrist. They say TPX, but Louisville Slugger says they are experimental.

nike sphere elite mvp are very durable, ive had mine since indoor league. ive used the tpx nomars also, durable, but havent been as durable as the nike gloves i mentioned. they wore down on the thumb and the straps tear easily.

I go through batting gloves likes it's my job, but the Jordan ones were pretty durable, all things considered. I really liked how soft they were, the price was pretty expensive, but you can't beat how great looking they are.

I seemed to blow through batting gloves like crazy, must be the amount of tape I use on my bat. The Jordan gloves did not last that well at all, I was glad I didn't pay for them, or else I would have been upset.
Honestly, I have more trouble finding a batting glove I really like. The upper end Franklin ones seem to last OK but the only place around here that sold them went under, the TPX Nomar's are decent, but like someone else said, the strap falls apart on them way too often.
Right now I'm using some Rawlings Pro stock batting gloves I was able to get my hands on, and they are working and lasting pretty decently.

actually lately ive gone with that, i use athletic tape. i developed a gym wart on one of my fingers so i started using a small strip of athletic tape over it.
i usually use batting gloves when i lift so i dont get blisters and such but im down to my last pair and i dont want them to rip. so to keep from getting blisters i use small strips of athletic tape on my fingers. i picked up a bat with the tape on and it felt great so ive been using them since.
