so i hear that some people can throw 400 300 whatever, well i can tell you this is NOT the case for me, whenever i throw it goes a mile in the air and i cant seem to fix it so i throw low and far....is there anything i can do to improve this flaw? i can always throw deadon accurate and make good long catches but for sheer throwing distance i NEED some advice thanks

sounds like more of a technical problem than ability. What exactly are you doing right after you make the catch? Do you throw this bad when you are close in distance or only for long toss?

I think the best possible thing to do is long toss with someone everyday. When I say long toss I mean at about 300 or more feet. Try to pick spots on the person and hit them when you throw, for example chest, shoulder, belt, etc...

Go to Siggy's site and watch some of his throwing clips. He has a bunch from the outfield.

Advice? Just throw it low. Just practice long toss, trying to keep it as low as possible while still making it to your partner 200-300 feet away.
Remember, low doesn't mean chest high the whole way, it just means that it is low enough to be cut when it gets to the cutoff guy, still with enough juice on it to make it to the plate.

i meant whenever i throw the ball it goes very high, i cant seem to throw the ball low and far...but ive been throwing alot until my arm feels like its badly shaking and feels weak, is this bad to throw this long or is it good??

Your release point is probably too high. Follow through. Throw hard to fall on your face. Do long toss to strengthen your arm. If you can throw 300 feet you'll be able to throw 200-250 bb's to the cutoff man.

Try to focus on keeping your shoulders level with the ground throughout the entire throw. I have a tendency to lower my back shoulder when trying to throw far, which causes the ball to sail.

Something else to keep in mind. Practice your throwing form enough so you it's a natural reaction in the game, just like hitting. In game, you should be like a gun, pick your target out and fire. Thinking about mechanics will make your in-game throwing worse, see: Chuck Knoblock.
