I have read a lot of people talking abuot disconnection, but I don't really understand it. I have been trying to look for pics but can't find any. Does it mean that my left elbow (I'm right handed so lead elbow) is pointing out....there is a 30 degree angle instead of a 90 degree angle?

Thanks

And if this is right, how can I fix this?

IT also feels as if my lower body starts to turn hard and then my upper body is pulled after....its not simultaneous....theres a pretty big gap.....is that ok?

It means failing to connect torso and shoulder rotation to the bat. It can come in many forms such as pushing the hands down out of the momentum plane, pushing the hands ahead as in the clip below or leaving the hands and bat behind as you start to rotate.

One form of disconnection. http://imageevent.com/siggy/hitting/analysis;jsessionid=8fllcp2i01.lion_s
