I believe I am correct in saying that former St. Louis Brown Rollie Stiles is the last living player to have pitched to Babe Ruth.
Also in terms of playing in a baseball game with Ruth, there are only three others:
Billy Werber (Yankee teammate)
Phil Cavaretta and Lonny Frey who were active-enough in 1935 to have almost certainly played against Ruth when in the two months that the latter was a Brave.
My research tools are:
List of oldest living Major League Baseball players http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_oldest_living_Major_League_Baseball_player s
and
the Baseball-Reference year-views for 1933, 1934 and 1935 .. the only conceivable years that someone who is not on the oldest players list might show up.
Can anyone find any additions or corrections? Thanks.
