The negative Bonds media who obsess about Bonds only hitting 3 HRs since May 8, have missed a huge milestone number today. Bonds got his 2500th BB in the Yankee game this afternoon. What an accomplishment! Who will break that mark huh? Nobody that's who. Not Arod, not Pujols, no one. I want to hear from all the Bonds bashers, and there are many, how on earth did roids help the great man do that? I love you Bondser, keep up your awesome work. you are the greatest player in baseball history; Aaron cant hold your jock buddy
:clapping :applaud:
Pujols only need 2066 more to catch Bonds, AROD 1639

YEah Bonds is the man, a truly great player. However his stats aren't what Ruth's are over their careers, I think by runs above replacement player including Ruth's pitching he comes out slightly ahead. Also Bonds never willed his team to a championship the way other greats did. Ruth did it, Wagner did it, Mantle did it, DiMaggio did it, Bonds never did...that said he's no worse than the thrid greatest player in the history of the game.

Willed their teams to the championship? That doesn't happen in baseball. Considering how Bonds performed in the 2002 postseason, I don't see how much more willful a baseball player could get.
Maybe the media didn't talk about the walks record because it's a record that very few actually care about.
