As with Hill and Bergman, it seems that as soon as a player starts performing well, they go on the DL.

This is fantastic. :dismay:
Guzman's been terrific leading off.
And Colome seems to have revived his career.
I can't take this anymore, it's just too painful. :candle:
There seems to be one solution: how about we pull a Yankee and fire out fitness coach?
Guzie might be back, but I'm not so sure Colome will:
"Jesus Colome, 4-0 with one save and a 2.76 ERA in 40 games with the Nats, will likely need surgery. (AP) "
With Guzman and Colome on the disabled list, the Nationals are expected to select the contract of infielder D'Angelo Jimenez from Triple-A Columbus and recall reliever Chris Schroder, who was sent down to Columbus on Sunday after the team activated right-hander Jason Bergmann.
Yes! I told you all we should call them up both! I guess Jimbo finally realized that too.

No such luck, I heard several times Guzman will be out for the season with a tore ligament in his thumb, all this from tagging somebody out. This team can never catch a break.
Sucks to see Colome out too, at least we got Ayala back and he's looked great.
And Bergmann pitched really well in his first start back vs the Braves.
