Are you aware that, among old Topps sets, 1986 is one of the cheapest and most readily available complete sets out there? I know it's fun to hand collect some sets--I've done it with many older sets--but as we speak, there are some 99 1986 Topps sets currently for sale on ebay.

There is a period of Topps (1986 to 1992) where the sets were so overprinted that they are practically being given away these days. They are virtually worthless as collector investments go, but to a fan/collector (like me) they are still worth having. And I bought them all on ebay as whole sets within a 2-week period a few years back. Never paid more than $30 for any of them.

I know how cheap they are. Its just that I have SOOO many 86 Topps, that I figure why spent $2.00 on the set and $5.00 on shipping, when I already have 1300 or so of them already. I have bought many other sets though. Thanks alot

Im not really focusing on sets anymore. Im looking to trade more team for team. I just want Cubs cards, Ill trade stars, rookies, commons, any GU's, AU's, anything. Except for Yankees sorry, I already sold all my yankees cards on ebay. Im open for almost anything just let me know your team and what Cubs you got.
