The Los Angeles Angels have spoken to the Cincinnati Reds about Adam Dunn and to the Baltimore Orioles about Miguel Tejada. If the Texas Rangers field offers for Mark Teixeira, the Angels would probably pursue the slugger, but the price would be steep.

LF Dunn .268, SS Tejada .307 and 1B Teixeira .302 - what a wonderfull trio !
It'll be a powerfull lineup:
1B Kotchman / Teixeira
2B Kendrick
3B Figgins
SS Tejada / Cabrera
LF Dunn / Willits
RF Guerrero
CF Matthews Jr.
With them Angels could be able to go on the top of the WS !?
What do you think?

If they can make the playoffs then they'll be tough to beat but Oakland ahs a good team to and could stop them from winning the division.

I seriously doubt the angels will get all 3... There's no way they could trade for all 3. I suspect Dunn or Teixeira so that they can DH.

I agree, there's absolutely no way they get all 3.
The Rangers are sucking bad, and I really see them dealing Mark Teixeira.

There's no way that they'll get all three. Teixeira has specifically said that he'll only go to the east coast. Tejada and Dunn would probably be easier to obtain, though there's no way that their lineup will still be intact at that point. And Tejada would have to switch positions, something he doesn't want to do.

They won't get all three, probably not even two. Dunn looks like the best choice.

Does Tex have a no trade claus or a limited trade claus in his current contract? If not, he has zero say in where he is traded. He's a free agent afterthis season and he can then sign wherever he wants.

I think he does, though I can't seem to find it anywhere. I mean, if he doesn't, why else would he say that he only wants to go to the east coast?
BTW, Teixeira's a FA after 2008.
Hmm...New York maybe?
Or Baltimore. He'd be a better fit there than in NY, considering that's where he's from and all.

Baltimore with Tex could have a decent lineup.
Roberts
Markakis
Teixeira
Tejada
Huff
Mora
R. Hernandez
Gibbons
Patterson
Having said that, however, Baltimore still can't match the Yankees or the Red Sox or even the Blue Jays, with Glaus, Thomas, Rios, and Wells, (and, say, Dunn). Or the D-Rays for that matter. Their pitching is solid, though.

If they get Tejada he's playing third.

Maybe thats where he would like to go. Doesn't mean thats where he'll get traded to. When he becomes a free agent he can go where he Wants to. I believe has said to teamates that he'd ideally like to play for Baltimore.

Tejada's on the DL with a broken wrist, so why would they consider him?
Also, is Orlando Cabrera considered a better SS than Miggy? I don't even understand why they'd want Miggy to play 3B when Anaheim's already got Chone Figgins.
Unlike Ripken, Jr or Rodriguez, how does anyone know that Tejada wants to shift positions? I'm not sure that deal makes much sense from Anaheim's standpoint unless it's just an offensive improvement at 3B.
As to Teixeira, I'm sure there will be many teams looking for him. What kind of package is Anaheim offering to get him?
As for Adam Dunn, had Juan Rivera played this season, he'd bee fine. However, despite his .310 BA, .887 OPS, 85 RBI, he must be on the DL. Who do they plan on giving up for Dunn?
