Oh come on, have you watched Fick at the plate. I would much rather have a guy with a recent 42 game hit streak than Fick.

Yeah, in the twilight of his career, FICK is hacking away...never a fluid
hitter..even when he was having good years with the Tigers and his one
season with the Braves....why is he being kept around ? is there nothing
at AAA ??

SAME GOES for Nook Logan...can't hit to save his arse...good potential
but will he ever reach it ?? all that speed, ain't worth squat..if he can't get on base...

bad for Detroit..that we won't be feasting more on the NATS..you guys were
a tasty snack for the Tigers...and badly needed, as we head into Atlanta
while doing battle with the Indians in the central....currently tied for 1st

Watson will get his tryout while Fick is out. Manny has said he will start. Tonight, he went 0 for 3 before being yanked for Belliard with the bases loaded.

No offence, but have you ever watched Brandon Watson play?
He's pathetically bad, really, he was terrible leading off for us for about 15 games, then he was released, I'd rather have Fick.

He's been released by three teams since the beginning of '06. I hope I'm wrong, but from what Watson's done so far in the majors, I don't think he's the answer to the Nats' CF dilemma.
