After coming across this... How is the MLB making the wrong decision, given that ratings/attendance are the highest they've been? How is 4pm that much drastically different than 1pm if you're bringing your kids to the game? The game is over at 7, that's too late, how? Interleague ratings are higher than intra-league ratings during the week too, and I dunno what this guy's talking about cause who doesn't wanna see the teams you never get to? I know im very interested in seeing what the supposedly strengthening NL has got when they play my Yankees, and I don't know a person that's not. I happen to LOVE 1pm, Saturday, Fox televised baseball games, but the 4pm (3:55 actually) is really not that bad.

I hate the Fox games. On TV the video quality is horrible, the announcers are pretty much Yankee bias idiots, especially McCarver, and when they have them at 1 theres nothing else to watch for the rest of the night.

Where I live I cant see the Fox Baseball Game in English, but yes in Spanish, and I like the latter one because it has more variety.

FOX Baseball is fine.
They play something other than Yankees games *COugH COUGH*
I think the 4PM ET game time is a good idea. They can show one slate of games to the whole country & not have to be concerned with not being able to show a west coast game because at 1 PM ET, it's 10 AM PT.
I'm surprised they didn't have Yankees/Mets last Saturday. But they were able to show Giants at Red Sox because the game started at 1 PM PT. FOX couldn't do that last year with a 1 PM ET game time.

FOX actually realizes there are 28 other teams besides the Red Sox and Yankees, so I like their game.
Usually I only see local teams (SoCal) and ESPN games (Northeast), so I was shocked through FOX to discover that there is supposedly a division known as the NL Central. Previously I believed this was just a wives' tale.

Yea FOX actually shows West Coast Games and midwest games instead of that garbage ESPN. Can't wait for that Baseball Channel.

I'm a Mets fan, so I get to see them a few times, but I have to think people in other parts of the country are tired of Fox's constant Mets/Yanks/Red Sox coverage.
Personally I don't like interleague. But I guess we're stuck with it.

That's funny. Yankee fans say Fox hates the yankees. Yankee-haters say Fox is Yankee-biased.
While I can do without the enire stuido/broadcasting crew (a few failed managerial stints do not make Kevin Kennedy the greatest baseball genuis/authority of all time), I do appreciate their fairly balanced schedule and decent start times for everyone.

I don't like the 4:00 start time, because my family always makes me miss the end of the game to come eat dinner. OTOH, I don't like the 1:00 start time because I'm rarely fully awake at that time. I'd prefer a night game.

I hate FOX's coverage. Tomorrow, for example, the Tigers are playing the Braves. That's not too marquee a matchup for most people so I understand why the LA and NY version of FOX (the two I get) will show the NYY-SF game. I subscribe to mlb.tv so in theory I should just be able to watch the game there. Of course with FOX's wonderful coverage I'll have to listen to the game on the radio instead. TO make matters worse, Justin Verlander is pitching and I haven't been able to watch him pitch since his no-hitter.

I dont see why who is calling the game makes any signifigant difference, i have had to live with many announcers somewhat diss san diego for years in both baseball and football. Kind of grown used to it, plus its fun to watch those guys eat their words when my team does well.
