Carlos Zambrano is going for a no-no right now against the Padres. He's got 2 more innings to go.
Oh, and for the millionth time, there's no jinx!

Won't matter if his team can't score some runs.

Marcus Giles breaks it up with a one out single in the eighth. EDIT: Wow, you people are fast. I thought I posted it first.

Dang I was rootin for him.
Oddly he is the one who breaks up the no hitter, letting that ball go would have given him more of a chance to allow Fontenot to get it and throw Giles out at first.
I'll take a 1 hitter, as long as the Cubs win.

Ill take another win for the 2 hit wonders.... Padres pitching staff is just unstoppable, they are in first place(or second) based on their pitching alone.

There goes the shutout.
Update the stats for the best pitcher in the NL dude, he is 8-1 with i believe a 1.82 ERA and a 1 WHIP.

Obviously the game is over and he didn't get it, but he was never 1.2 innings away. He could pitch 12 innings (i.e. Haddix) of no-hit ball but if his team doesn't score it won't matter. You can't win 0-0.
