First of all, it's ridiculous Giambi is being persecuted by Bud Selig for being honest and admitting he made a mistake. Selig is encouraging other players to keep quiet and/or lie about steroid usage.
Additionally, it's absurd that the steroid investigation is being conducted by a Boston Red Sox board director. Three words: Conflict of Interest.
Does this seem to be a conflict of interest to you?

Its not so much a conflict of interest as it is a total witch hunt that is going to blow up in MLB's face.
Selig can suspend Giambi and my bet is the players union hopes he does, because they go in front of an arbitraitor to appeal it and MLB will get its butt handed to it on a plate, because the suspension lacks any basis as established by the CBA.
This is Pud Selig's desperate attempt to try to look tough. He's a joke. He's the one going after Giambi, not Mitchell. Mitchell has been pretty quiet about that subject.

I don't think it's a conflict of interest

The conflict of interest is not that a member of the Red Sox organization is looking into this, it's that anybody associated with baseball is investigating here.

Now here is about the only time that I can disagree with a small part of someone's agrument, yet still agree with the bulk of what you're saying right on man. :highfive:
