Im a Yankees fan so I don't really know much about the DBacks but I do know this

So far this series, the DBacks have played just as bad (if not worse) defense as any team has against the Yankees this year... arent they known as a scrappy team that wins with pitching, defense and scraping for runs? On top of all the errors they've had, there are MANY balls that I thought were gonna be caught/stopped in the infield that just werent (particularly by your 2nd baseman)

Is this common / are they not a vey solid defensive team? or are they just going thru a really bad stretch of D right now? if its common, theyre in big trouble with that whole winning the NL West thing lol

And now they just let 2 runs score that shouldn't really have.. well ARod was hustling, but not the other one

Half the runs in today's game were caused by the DBacks lack of defense

The Dbacks defense has been decent this year, I think they just had a sloppy night, particualrly O-Dog, i.e. Orlando Hudson, who plays 2nd base.

I enjoy watching Eric Byrnes in the outfield, no fear.:crazy

This team's fielding is a long way off from where they were just two short seasons ago. Chris Young has committed more errors so far this year (6), than their entire starting outfield (Green 0, Terrero 2, and Gonzalez 3) did in all of 2005.

Orlando Hudson and Stephen Drew have developed into an excellent DP combination. Hudson is especially fun to watch.

It's a shame and a HUGE blow to the DBacks that Hudson is out for the season. Although, with him gone, the team really stepped up and finished the season strong (Losing 2/3 to Pittsburgh was quite stressful for a bit!)
