On the topic of ebay, do you guys get many cards or even memorabilia on there? Are the memorabilia stores that list on there generally reputable? I've seen jerseys signed by Kaline, Rivera, Seaver, etc. and all are under 100 bucks.

I completed my 1970 Topps set, and have purchased a few cards, but, in regards to vintage memorbilia and even autographs, I'd be looking really close at those feedback numbers, both from the seller and from the people buying from them.

Yeah, I'm going to be looking real close. I'm leery of getting this stuff on ebay now because I see some cool stuff from big name players for under 100 bucks and then one time I saw a baseball bat for like 90,000 bucks!

I did win a lot of cards the other day for a buck though.

I buy autographs on ebay occasionally, but the only ones that I buy are certified autographed cards issued by Topps, Donruss, Upper Deck, etc. I've actually managed to get some good cards, like a Julio Franco 1996 Leaf Signature Series for only $3. But for the most part I collect my autographs through the mail, unless a certain player charges more money than his autographed cards cost (like Bob Feller), or if they don't generally sign TTM, like Franco.

Ebay is very true just keep on eye on there feedback. and dont buy an auto unless its certified and they show it.

I just purchased a Grady Wilson signature Louisville Slugger on ebay. Won it Tuesday, recieved it today. No problems.

just make sure you do your own research and compare the autos to legit ones.

I've so far stuck to baseball cards and have been very pleased. I've basically been trying to fill in the years I missed from 2001-2005, though, so it's been very low-risk.
