well its very early, in his career and the season, but look at this guys stats this year:

Player POS G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI TB BB SO SB CS OBP SLG AVG OPS E
Christopher Johnson SS 21 80 17 27 3 0 5 20 45 5 8 3 2 .368 .563 .338 .930 6

Though he is only in A Lexington, he is leading the team in Avg and Homeruns. (And supprisingly he stunk at my hometown last year at tri-city)

The guys I were impressed with were Jordan Parraz (who is now at Lexington) and Chris Salamida (drafted last year, I think 8th) who is now in Salem.

He's got a guy ahead of him whose name is Tommy Manzella. They are both great prospects. I don't have Tommy's numbers at hand at the moment but they are right up there.

I think Salamida was taken lower than the eighth round, but might be wrong. I know he had a good pro debut up in the NY-Penn League last summer, supposed hits 92+ with his zinger.

Manzella was a high pick, maybe 2nd-3rd round, out of Tulane.

Don't know much about the Johnson kid.

When Adam Everett was with New Orleans he used to go to the games and watch Adam's every move at SS. Not a bad guy to watch.
