This organization is playing like little leaguers!!! the Jays have lost 5 out of their last 8, 3 of those were a sweep from the O's, they are currently in a 4 game series with the Rangers who were 8-13, off to a horrible start but they are now 10-13 thanks to great offence by the Jays, the Chiefs have now lost 6 in a row, their leader in batting average is John-Ford Griffin with a .265 average, in the whole season they've only had 1 save, and in 2 double headers today they've blown 3 late inning leads, the Jays also blew a 7-5 9th inning lead thanks to Jason Frasor who gave up 3 runs, our teams need to start realizing that Spring Training is over and my panic button has been pressed more times than I can count, my teams have a combined record of
18-24, I'm not all that happy.

What's going on? We've lost our starting catcher, third baseman, left fielder and stud closer all at the same time. And we're 2nd in the AL East for Gosh sakes!!!

No need to panic, it's still only April.

Ok, maybe I should just be complaining about the Chiefs who have lost 6 straight, last in their div...again, and have already lost 5 in a row in the season, and how many times have u seen 3 blown saves from the same team in 1 day?

All due respect to the Chiefs, Fisher Cats, and all the other teams in the Jays system, but as long as they're helping prospects and and make it to the big leagues, I really don't care if they win or lose. Sure it's nice to them win and receive accolades, but I'm more concerned with players getting playing time and improving. That's just my opinion on things.

I agree. Nothing wrong with that though. I like to see the minor league affiliates do well, but I'd much rather see a steady pipeline of players coming up. I don't know if the two are connected or not.
I'll use this example. Everyone seems to be a big fan of Sal Fasano. I am to. He is one of the better characters in the game. But you look at his situation with the Chiefs this year before Zaun's injury. He is a fading major league ball player who is only in the organization in case they need him in case of injury in the majors. With him in Syracuse, is Curtis Thigpen. Thigpen is a good young player who could have a shot at being the Blue Jays' starting catcher one day. Although at the moment Fasano may help the Chiefs win more games, those at-bats in the minors are not near as important to him as they are to Curtis Thigpen. Fasano really only needs the playing time to stay in game shape in case he is needed. Thigpen needs those at bats to help take his career to the next level. So in that situation, I would want Thigpen playing more than Fasano even if he might be help the Chiefs win as much.

I hope that clarifies my point a little bit. Again, I'm not saying anyone has to agree, I just telling it like I see it.

It's just a slump that all teams go through. It is compounded by their extreme bad luck with injuries, etc. But remember how bad the Twins started off last season and won the Central division. It's a long season.

Overbay going down doesn't help at all. Things have finally started to look up again, and although they are two games under .500, they are back in second place. I just hope this recent injury doesn't derail the recent signs that they are getting back on track.
