Somthing I wanted to talk about (an old trade)

Last season, I was offered this trade, and I have been wondering where I would have been if I took the deal, I still wonder if I should have taken it when I had the chance or not.

Last season, YL (as gm of the Yankees) offered me Manny Ramirez & Aubrey Huff for Gary Sheffield & Adam Dunn. He later pulled back the trade saying it was too dangerous. Now Manny was doing better, but I thought Sheffield and Dunn were better overall compared to Huff. Shefields contract was up at the end of the year though, and he was old, so I wanted to get rid of him by a trade so I could get somthing from him instead of letting him go as a FA. I ended up dealing Sheffield to TOR. It was Sheffield, Maroth and a prospect for Burnett & Wells. (yea I ripped of that GM :p)

so what do you think?

Ok 2 things Jordan,

1st-I wasn't being serious when I offered that trade. It wasa more brainstorming than a serious offer.

2nd-Did you really need to start a new thread to rip on other GM's and to brag about yourself? You could have just posted something in the season thread.

I'm actualy supprised at both of your responces, thats sad guys - its hard to belive you call that bragging - i've waited a whole year to bring it up.

I guess I'll start this thread again in the regular fantasy games section where neutral people will look at it.
