Several years ago I found a website, still there but different, that had a listing of addresses for former Brooklyn Dodgers. I wrote to about a dozen of the players from the '57 team and what sent for them to sign were the postage paid postcards that you can get from the post office. This meant that all I had to do was address the postcard back to me, and all they had to do was sign and drop it in the mail. No fumbling with envelopes, etc.

I was successful on 10 of 12 with the other two replying that they would appreciate a certain dollar amount to orgs like BAT or the Jackie Robinson Foundation. The cards fit nicely into Ultra-Pro Pages too.

Are those postcards by JD McCarthy?

Actually, no. Just the plain jane blank postcards that I got from the postal vending machines in packs of 20 or so. The postage is printed directly to the cards so no messing with stamps too.

Now that I've seen some other folks Custom Index Cards they don't look nearly as nice, so I will probably not repeat in the future, but still, very functional.
