:gt i have a polaroid picture of johnny pesky and tommy harper visiting my dad in the va hospital in jamicia plains on feb 14 1962 which was my dads birthday.he was in va hospital for 17 years with multibile sceroiss.where he passed.i have saved this photo thru hurricanes betsy,1965,camile 1968 and katrina 2005.its a black and white photo.i have been a redsox fan since 1944 and used to go to fenway and braves field for 25 cents and sit behind bullpen in bleachers

I was wondering the same thing. Surely it would have more sentimental value than monetary value. Why would it be worth anything to anyone but you?

i dont want to sell the picture i would like to hear from redsox/johnny psky to see if they still do that ,visiting gi;s in va hospitals.some times we forget those who gave so much and we all are guilty of forgetting

your best bet would be to get ahold of the team P.R. Department.Or, if you were just looking to say a word of thanks, you can probably send mail to Pesky via the team at Fenway, as he's there every day. From what I hear, he's had a rough winter, and would probably get a bit of a charge out of that sort of thing.
