Just saw him pitch, and he was amazing. 92 pitches, 8 innings, 3 hits, 1 run against the yankees. I see him as a really good number 2 to Santana. Great pick-up Terry Ryan!

I'm not going to celebrate yet, but he's pitched well in his first two outings. I don't know that he's any better than a 4 starter, long-term, but i do agree that Ryan made a nice pickup. Even if he ends with an ERA in the expected mid-4.00's, he'll win some games and log some innings. Let's hope that he turns his career around in Minnesota and can keep up it up all year!!!
