No, I don't believe in jinxes, by the way. I'm making the thread.

So far, Felix Hernandez has stolen Dice-K's thunder tonight and is going after a no-hitter. Just two more innings to go. Start the countdown.

Matsuzaka didn't pitch all that badly, either. Three runs in seven innings ain't that bad.

I've got two games rotating on GameDay right now... I'm watching the Mariners/Red Sox game while Boston's batting until there's a hit or the game ends, and the O's/Tigers the rest of the time. Great game going there too.

I have been watching too from the 1st inning. I hope you didn't jinx Felix!

;)

I'm holding you personally responsible if the Red Sox get a hit!

;)

JD Drew, first hit of the night.

Hasn't looked good all night for the Sox though. :crossfingers:

Let this be a lesson to you all, no talking about no-nos.

It's one of those unwritten rules in baseball.

Rule one: You DO NOT talk about a no-hitter while in progress.

What happened the last time someone had a no-hitter through 6 and no one talked about it, this happened.

I think I did a no-hitter thread for Daniel Cabrera of the O's once. He was doing good against the Yankees until the final inning. Well hey, at least I got close...

Ramon Ortiz too. IIRC, he gave up a HR to the opposing pitcher to break up the no-no bid.

Complete game 1-hit shutout for Felix. Not too shabby.

If not for Knick9, it would have been a no-hitter for sure! ;)

Lopez almost got to that ball by Drew, I'll tell you what.

Hack Job Phillips had to jinx a moment of baseball history...I really hate that guy and hope he gets axed.

Felis Hernandez for the season:

2-0, 17 IP, 4 H, 4 BB, 18 SO

0.00 ERA
0.471 WHIP
4.5 SO/BB

This may be just a hot start, but I'll take it.
