The Padres bullpen pitched 4 2/3 scoreless innings yesterday to extend its season-opening scoreless streak to 25 1/3 innings without allowing a run, out of curiosity, what's the longest any bullpen in history has gone without a allowing a run?

The team record for the Padres is 32 scoreless innings, from Aug. 5-22, 1978.

Last year the longest bullpen scoreless streak was 26 1/3 innings by the Astros.

Of all time, not sure?

25 1/3! That's just ridiculous. And I thought the Padres' pen couldn't look any better...

After 3 scoreless innings today, the Pads bullpen has now gone 28 1/3 innings without giving up a run.

This streak has now given me a reason to look at the Padres box scores. :shhh:
