Has anyone used these bats and if so how are they? Youth sizes like the -10 or -12

A friend of mine at work who coaches a select team turned me onto the COMBATS. His whole team is using them and they feel like they are superior to Demarini and other brands. I got a demo to try out for my 9 yr old. The unique thing about it is that the bat is a 30/20 but it feels so different from an end loaded bat. It is balanced and he can swing it better than he can swing a lighter end loaded bat. It sounds a little like a wood bat when he hits balls with it but he is getting good distance. Get with your local rep and put one up against your current bat and look at the difference in the length of the sweet spot on the barrel. You can probably arrange to borrow one, the reps normally carry demo's and you can take it to the cage and see what you think. I like the bat a lot.
