Box of 2007 Upper Deck

I picked up a box of 2007 Upper Deck and after opening all the packs and had acquired 0 inserts of any kind and 0 cards of Griffey, A-Rod, Jeter, Ichiro or pretty much any star. It was basically the most boring box I ever opened. It's a good thing though that I can appreciate common cards. But this was just absurd.

I know how you feel. I have purchased 1 each of Topps, Upper Deck, and Fleer from 2007 and thus far have yet to pull a single GU or AU card.

On a side note, I bought 2 packs of Upper deck the other day and pulled a Torii Hunter auto and Derek jeter jersey.

Nice pulls from the 2 packs.
I also had pulled only 2 cards of individuals who had ever played for the Reds in that box. And I'm not just talking about cards depicting the guys on the Reds. It sucked. But I believe at least one of the cards I pulled was in my outgoing mail today.

I buy tops cards and I never got an autograph or game used card. But, when i was little, my grandma gave me a pack of baseball cards. A few years ago, I found out it was Mike Schmidt rookie card. Too bad it had a small bend in a corner and yellow marker streaks from me not knowing what it was

One box of 2007 Topps. I was VERY disappointed that I didn't get the Andrew Miller RC (Does anyone have a dupe? I'll swap you a 2006 Bowman Heritage Evan Longoria, Cameron Maybin, or Yung-Chi Chen, whichever you prefer for either an '07 Topps Miller or '07 Topps Heritage Miller). But what did I get in ONE BOX? Ichiro GU, Dontrelle Willis GU, Justin Morneau AU, Ryan Zimmerman AU. I dunno if it was a packaging error (I got a ton of dupes, so maybe), but you're only supposed to get one GU and one auto per box.

I have yet to pull the infamous Jeter card and I've busted 4 boxes of '07 Topps. Anyone know a special trick that I'm missing???

I want the Jeter not for it's economical value, which I expect to plummet (and rightly so) but because I'm a Jeter collector and it seems like a must-have. Of course the "Must-havedness" of this card will be probably keep the price from plummetting as much as I'm inclined to think.

Zito75...PM sent. The trick to pulling the Jeter ERR is not knowing about it. I pulled it out of the first pack of 2007 Topps that I opened. I've not pulled one since.

No. Topps is removing the ERR in its box set once Series II comes out.

This might pertain to this thread..i hadnt bought any new baseball cards in awhile (like weeks) and I was shopping at the local walmart and I picked up a box of 07 UD First Edition and I was pleasently surprised. I found 4 Cubs, Ichiro, base Griffey and an insert, one "insert" per pack, and numerous other bigger name players. Its was $10 for 110 cards...I think it was a steal
