I'm going to Cooperstown tomorrow. Any recommendations of what to do there (besides the HoF)?

If you're a boxing fan, the boxing hall of fame is an hour west in Canastota. The soccer hall of fame (the one in Cooperstown is a branch) is a shade south, in Oneonta.
The collectibles shopping is incredible. You'll see stuff you won't see anywhere else in the dozen or so stores geared toward baseball. Make a day of that.

They have a bunch of shops and there's a camping ground about 10 minutes away. There's also a really good food shack on the other side of Cooperstown. I had a really good BBQ sandwich there. Also, there are many little shops where people are selling and trading baseball cards. It's a pretty small, crowded area so if you're bringing anyone make sure you stay close together. Have fun! :)

There's the Farmers' Museum, which recreates 19th-century village life, but is much more famous as the home of the Cardiff Giant. The Fenimore Art Museum is well-known for its collections of Native American and folk art.
It is possible to obtain a reduced-price combination ticket that covers the above two museums and the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Don't miss the Cardiff Giant and the story behind it. They also have one in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Forget all those boring museums and that Fennimore Cooper House or whatever. I almost fell asleep in those shacks. They're overpriced too. Instead go to the Ommegang Brewery. It's about a 5 minute drive from the Hall.

Which is a good suggestion beyond the fact Erik is a teenager.

Right now there are no tournaments going on I'm pretty sure and Short season A ball has not happened yet. But ya, there shouldn't be that many people there right now, and the stores there are awesome. Try going to Mickey's Place, there arew always some old ballplayers signing there. When i was there, I got Clete Boyer.

And some other places to go might be Cooperstown Bat Co., Doubleday Field, the wax museum, or even drive by Dreams Park.

So did I! I remember getting a ball signed by Boyer.

Well, it took longer than I expected to get there... and it took a LONG time to go through the Hall (I, being a true baseball fan, annoyed my family and read every word on every single plaque), so we left at quarter to five, when most of the other museums closed. So I really didn't get to do much. However, the rest of my family liked it, so I'll probably go back soon and do some of the other stuff. Thanks for the suggestions!
