Ok i have the video on quick time and i click edit and dont really see much options. Can you or anyone else please give me a quick breakdown on what i should do to break down a swing. thanks

You need Quicktime Pro to be able to edit in Quicktime.

Correct.
I use QuickTime to go frame by frame through clips using the Right Arrow and Left Arrow keys.
