I have an old youth-sized bat (32") that says "Ducky Medwick Model" on the barrel. I had read that Medwick hated that nickname (the fully version was "Ducky Wucky", kind of similar in meaning to the "Cat's Meow") and was surprised that he would allow a company to use it on something he had endorsed.
I am wondering if Medwick actually agreed to endorse the bat or if it may have been a "pirate" item, so to speak. Has anybody else seen "official" items that said Ducky Medwick or Ducky Wucky Medwick, and did he sign with one of those names?
