I just went to an exhibition game featuring the Astros vs. theRound Rock Express. I got their so early that the gates hadn't even closed yet, before they reopened. If you know what I mean. aAs in "Gates open at 4:30." But I got there early enough that I was inside well before then. Anyways Chris Sampson, Jose Cruz, Brian Moehler and Woody Williams were all milling around in the stands. (They have a neat setup there, where players go to the field through a portion of the stands. They cordone it off when the game is about to start, but apparently 4 hours before the game guys just stand around the exit. It was really neat talking to Woody (I told him I had acquired his auto TTM before) and Mr. Cruz in such a relaxed environment. Later when the gates were opened the hunt for autographs got more stressful and less person but I did manage to get Brad Lidge, Roy Oswalt, Dan Wheeler, and Morgan Ensberg. Those guys were all great signers. Biggio signed pretty good, but I just missed him. In all it was an outstanding day. Just thought I'd share the experience.
