Picked up my first packs of...

the Upper Deck 2007 First Edition Cards. I really like this design, there is not much to it, but they are cool cards. The only problem is that I didn't get a single Yankees card out of all 3 packs... oh well!

What do you guys think of this set, and all the other ones that have come out this year?

I picked up First Edition and Fleer and Heritage yesterday.

First Edition is OK, Fleer so-so, Heritage awesome design.

I have not managed to find the UD cards around here, but I have gotten cards of Topps, Topps Heritage, and Fleer. At first, I liked the Topps, but the more I look at them, the less I like them. The Fleer is a solid looking set, nothing fancy but nice. The Heritage set is way cool, my favorite of the year so far. I doubt I'll build any sets this year, though. I hate the fact there are short-prints (and so MANY of them!). I started to build a set of 06 Bowman Heritage but quickly became discouraged. I'll keep some of the cards I like and likely trade off the rest.

I picked up a pack of the UD First Edition yesterday and don't like them at all. I had to search to find the team name and position, the cards feel a little cheap (flimsy), and if you hold them in the light, you can see that they have some marks on them. I do like how large the pictures are, though. They would probably make great cards for TTM.

I am almost finished with my topps 07 set, but most of the cards seem too dark. I like the Topps Opening Day much better.

The Fleer set seems really solid. A good design, very bright.....there are some players that are pictured in a different uniform than the team they're on now, though. lol

I picked up 10 packs of Topps 07 yesteryday. I really like te design. Especially the 1954 design on some of the cards

I like the Topps 07 set too... I also like a lot of the different kinds of inserts they have in this set too.
