Hey, sorry I haven't posted in a few days/weeks. I have been very busy with practice. The other night we had our first game. We lost 18-5 to Monticello High School. And we didn't get any better tonight, we lost 20-2 to Covenant. Tomorrow we play a double header at home against E.C. Glass. So hopefully we can win at least one game.

Hey its me again, the double header went pretty bad. We lost 12-3 and 18-2. And yesterday we had a game aganst Louisa and we lost 13-0. So as you can see we are not very good.

Gosh from what I can tell by the scores you guys need some pitching. How often do you pitch?

jeez, that hurts. When i was in 8th grade our team won its first game and then lost the rest of the games the whole season if that makes you feel any better?

Thanks for finally posting people. On my JV team this year I have pitched 1 2/3 innings. (Mopup in both). I had my first Babe Ruth game last night. I went 3-3 with 3 singles, 1 RBI (Tied the game in the 7th) and one run (stole home on a past ball to win the game. I also got 5 putouts in RF.

Yeah, thanks for the support. It feels good to be playing on a team that can actually win A game.

haha, i take it that means your JV team went winless or is still without a win.

Or maybe some DB's. They're giving up too many TD's.

I find it surprising that VA allows high school athletes to compete in an outside program during your school season. This is not permitted in CA.

Here in Tennessee, Babe ruth season don't start until my high school schedule is over, High school's last game is on Babe Ruth opening day. but we are permitted to practice with babe ruth at the high school i go to, but the other high school in this area is not allowing their players to practice

Here in NY kids play BR and school at the same time. Given that we start with a pretty limited pool of pitchers, it can be a problem. A couple kids hurt their arms last year doing both.

Hey guys, today we played William Monroe and we lost 7-6. We lost in the 7th when we had a 6-1 lead and we blew it. I rode the pine pony for 7 innings so i didn't get 2 play, lol. Tomorrow we play a double header aganst Turner Ashby and i have a lane game! So hopefully we can take this loss and turn it around tomorrow.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Last week I had a Babe Ruth Game. Our team won 11-10 on a botched dp ball. I went 0-2 with a K and a groundout to 3rd. After that I had a another Babe Ruth Game and we won 6-3. One of my teammates hit a solo homerun. He is the 55th person to hit a homer at my Babe Ruth League. I went 1-1 with a double, a walk, and a run. It would have been two runs but i got thrown out trying to score from first on a ball down the left field line. The day after the Babe Ruth Game I had a JV game at Western Albermarle. We lost 12-1. I pitched 2 2/3 innings of relief for our starter who only lasted 1/3 of the first inning. I came in with bases loaded and one out. I gave up 6 runs (one was earned). I had 2 k's, and 2 BB. I also went 1-1 with a single. Tommorrow i have a game aganst Covenant and I have a Babe Ruth game right afterwards , tuesday i have a game aganst Orange, wensday i have a game at Fluvana, and friday i have a game at Monticello. So as you can see i have a busy week and probably wont have time to post so just hang in there and ill try and post as soon as i can.
