What would you say is the worst hat choice of all time?
IMO- it HAS to be Winfield and the Padres.

I live near San Diego, and there were Padres fans who actually got mad when Winfield chose the Padres, because they wanted Tony Gwynn to have the first Padre hat in the Hall.

I have to say that it was ludicrous for the Hall to say that Catfish Hunter would have a neutral cap.

I like that, actually, that was the team he was on when I was first aware of him and liked him. :) But he truly should have an Angels hat.

I agree about Ryan on the Angels. But, you could make a case for the Astros, since his best season was in Houston.
Catfish Hunter SHOULD be wearing an A's hat, but I'd rather see him a Yankee than no logo.
Dave Winfield should be a Yankee in the hall.

Really? That's kind of... weird. I'd want the Hall of Fame stuffed with as many allied caps as possible. Well, no, that's not what I'd want, but it seems like the most natural knee-jerk reaction.

Not quite as ludicrous as Yogi Berra being in the hall without a logo on his cap. 10 WS wins with the Yankees, all but one season with the Yankees.
