Ruth is not the answer he didn't pitch much for the YankeesActually that's a very good question. Not sure if there's a definitive answer, but candidates could include Tom Gordon, Red Ruffing, Jesse Tannehill. I'm guessing you're probably thinking Ruffing

You could maybe add Sparky Lyle in the mix as well.Considering the differences in park factors, Lyle may not have changed much at all

Luis Tiant went from the Red Sox to the Yankees and I believe he finished with the same identical record.

Here is my favorite piece of Yankee-Red Sox trivia from my book Big League Trivia.........
In the first 102 seasons of their storied rivalry, Boston’s largest margin of victory against the New York Yankees was a 15-1 win on September 1, 1990, at Fenway Park – then they beat New York by 16 runs twice in less than two months. On May 28, 2005, the Red Sox pounded four New York pitchers at Yankee Stadium for a 17-1 victory. The onslaught was led by Johnny Damon (4 hits, 3 runs), Manny Ramirez (4 hits, RBI), Edgar Renteria (3 hits, 5 RBIs), and Trot Nixon (3 hits, 5 RBIs). Back in Boston on July 15, David Ortiz had a homer and drove in five runs to go with Trot Nixon’s inside-the-park homer and five RBIs as the Sox duplicated the 17-1 score.
