when i was about 10, i read somewhere that hitting a basketball/soccerball off of a tee would help hitting all the way through.
just emphasize swinging all the way through when doing this drill.
i dont know if that really works, but it seemed to help me.

I've tried it too, and it also worked for me. If it won't stay on the tee, try putting a plunger in the tee or in a pipe stuck into the ground, and place the soccer or b-ball on top of it. Also, take a little air out of the ball.

Though I haven't done quite as much research on hitting than I have pitching. Could what you're describing be because you're pulling your front shouder?

Question?
you was talking sliced ball to left field for a lefty?
What is your path to the ball like? are you in the swing plane? I feel hand location drifting fwd on the outside pitch because you have to wait on it causes a small loop in the swing. if not corrected you will be under the ball hitting pop ups that slice. Keep hands back at the launch position until lead foot dwn. and Swing from there. dont let the hands drift fwd and you should hit line drives.
we do drills hitting to opposite field. Want the batter to drive them and coach watching hands. Pitch loopy pitch to outside part of the plate. Make sure the batter is not getting closer to the plate. With the same distance from the plate and watching the hands location staying back. Seemed to help. You can do the same from tee. Just like anything. It takes work and time.

yeah ive been pulling my front shoulder out some lately
and on an outside pitch i get this weird slice that is curling away from the left fielder, and my coach said its because ive been pulling my front shoulder out so i havent been hitting throught the ball the whole way. i get my hands to the ball great and fast but i pull off afterr i make contact
its weird :noidea
