there is a street called copeland right off the highway thats next to the ballpark. there is a Joes Crab Shack, Kinko's, Red, Hot & Blue, etc. in a shopping area. if you park over there, you can usually pull off free parking. its a 10 minute walk but like he said, it gets very very hot walking on a texas summer day.

Or maybe the walmart off of randal mill?
If you come in the summer I would suggest just paying the $10 (or did it go up :grouchy ) and having a very short walk in most cases.

I hope not. For having to pay $10, you still have to walk pretty damn far

I always park right there off randal mill by the 1st base entrance (i think its 1st base) and its usually a very short walk.

No close in free parking but there is cheap parking right across from the center field gate on Stadium drive.
There are four lots around the office buildings on stadium drive that charge $6,7&8.00 for 2007 season.Beats $12. and close in.

I have parked at the Wal-mart off Randol Mill before. It's not a bad walk to the Ballpark from there, but I had my 4 year old with me last night. His little legs just aren't ready for that much walking, and my back can't handle carrying him that far. So I paid the 12 bucks and parked really close to the first base gate.

the close parking lots are real nice. Literally takes a min or two to get to the gates.

The best parking is on the corner of Randol Mill Rd and Chapman Cutoff (in front of Obee's and across from the Rangers Bus parking). It is cheaper, easy in and easy out and closer than the Ranger parking. Need better directions let me know. I have parked there since the Ballpark opened.

If you are staying in a local hotel, find one that offers the shuttle to and from the game.

I always get to a game early to see BP. So I always go to the Wyndam Hotel for free. you have to get there 2 hours before game time, because they will start charging for parking close to game time for all non guests. its not that bad of a walk. maybe two to three minutes and your at the ballpark

Whatever you do, DO NOT PARK AT THE WAL-MART ON RANDOL MILL !
I recently went to a Ranger game and thought I would be slick and blend in with the other shoppers in the Wal-Mart by parking in the middle of the parking lot around other cars. Apparently someone is watching the parking lot, because after the game, I came back and my car had been towed. I cost me $244.10 to get my car back from A-AArlington towing !

I have parked at Wal-mart in the past, but I always go into the store to get a drink before walking to the ballpark...
