Ok. Im a pitcher. When I throw should I land on the ball of my foot, flatfooted or on the heel of my foot.
Also, I've thought about different breaking balls. I can throw a slider, breaks awesome, but it slips out my hand too easily, which causes me to lose accuracy with it. I try to throw a curveball, but it seldom works, but when it does it's pretty good. Also, I've really mastered the knuckleball (spin wise), but it is terribly slow and lots of times doesn't stay in the strikezone.
Which should I choose?

Do you have a change-up?

Flat.
Do you have a change-up?
I thought that you were supposed to point your toes to the ground so you dont land flatfooted.
And yes I throw a circle change. My fastball and circle change are pretty well down pat.

Most pitching clinics I have been to, and things I have read, always point out to make sure not to land on your heel.
Cushion the shock of landing. Flex knee & ankle to help.

Most pros land mostly flat-footed but slightly on their heel. Some land flat-footed but slightly on their instep.

Correct. A simple way to think of it is this, when you stride during walking, how do you land? The heel strikes first and then the rest of the foot. So, why would it be different when pitching?
