i need some help choosing a good BIG barel bat. My son is 9 y/o. i know how to pick as far as length/weight, but there are so many brands to choose from any suggestions?

why would you want your 9 year old swinging a big barrel...he wont need it for 4 years and even though it may make his little league bat feel light it might cause some mechanical flaws because he might not be able to hold and swing the bat consistenly because of the increase in weight. But, i like Louisville Slugger Tpx bats a lot. Easton bats are ok also.

we had a couple of 9 year olds who swung big barrels with no problems at all. . We had 3 big barrels on the team.

Two easton stealths 28-18 and 29-19 and an easton SC777 i believe. It is 29-19 iirc. The sc777 was the best of the 3. Very solid bat. It is for sale if interested. 75 dollars plus shipping. It was bought brand new last season and was used by 2-3 kids. We are moving up to 31-21 range. Good luck
