Babe Ruth League

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone knows about the Babe Ruth League? I'm 16, and it seems that they have both a 16-18 yr old division and a 16 yr old prep league. I have no idea what a prep league is. Any help would be appreciated.

I thought that Babe Ruth League was 13-15. That's what I play in.

16 prep is most likely more of a rec league. the 16-18 is most likely one team for each town or city and then you play other teams around the area. Around here it goes:
Jr. Babe Ruth prep.:13 yo- let's kids get used to the big diamond (spring)
Jr Babe Ruth:14-15 yo- get's ready for competive BR, metal cleats allowed, tighter bat drop restrictions (spring)
Babe Ruth:16-18 yo-competive league, right below HS in importance, played during summer.
