Info on Hicks required

Hi guys, im from England.

As you are probably aware Tom Hicks has recently bought Half of Liverpool Football club along with George Gillett.

I know very little about Tom Hicks and how he runs his sports clubs, how do you guys view him, and should we be worried about him owning our club?

From what I have read he is keeping alot of people in place that are already there. When he first got into it he made some mistakes (ie Arod) but he quickly learned in order to run a good team he needs people in place that know the business. I think he will be a good owner for you. I would imagine he will be fairly hands off onthe player side but he will be very good and working out an agreement and building the new stadium they are after.

Yes, IMO I think he is a great owner. He also hires amazing staff and knows how to keep up with the players needs.

I would disagree on Hicks as a great owner. He is a decent owner, but good at not getting in the way. I believe that he also makes poor decisions when it comes to the front office and staff.

I think he made a great decision with Jon Daniels. You're right about not getting in the way, but I think Jon Daniels and him make a great combo.
