What is the oldest World Series-winning team that has two living members?
Three living members? Four living members?

NOTE: I am not asking about combined age of these teammates, just the oldest team to have a pair of living teammates. For example, do the 1934 Cardinals have any living teammates? 1935 Tigers? 1936 Yankees?

1941 Yanks have Henrich and Rizzuto. Hope they still get together :clapping

Just missed? He's been dead for 18 months.

This is not the correct answer.

Is it someone from the 1934 Cardinals? :D

That would be too easy I guess...

As far as I can tell, there are no living members of the 1934 Cardinals.

I think the currently oldest surviving two-fer championship team is the 1940 Reds. Billy Werber is currently 98, while teammate Lonny Frey is 96. Eddie Joost also survives and is 90. That makes three also. (Go back to the losing end of the Series a year earlier, and the '39 Reds preceded Joost with Nino Bongiovanni, who just recently turned 95.)

Also with three is the '42 Cardinals. Max Lanier is 91, Marty Marion is 89, and Musial is 86.

More than three? I'd have to say the '44 Cardinals, who have three surviving players in their early 90's (Schmidt, Litwhiler, and Lanier), along with Byerly and Musial, both of whom are currently 86, making five.

Am I close?

Ouch, that's sad. :(

Well, the '40 Reds still have three, and the '44 Cards still have five.
