Program Alert: Dirty Jobs, Groundskeeper, Tonight at 9

Tonight at 9pm(est) on the Discovery Channel, the host of Dirty Jobs, Mike Rowe, will be doing the job of a Ballpark Groundskeeper. I really like this show, so it should be interesting. He is working for the Bowie Baysox, a class AA affiliate of the Orioles. I also believe he may get a few ABs in while he's there. For those of you who aren't familiar with the show, it's usually pretty hilarious, here's a link or two

Thanks for the heads-up! That was fun to watch. I think the worst part was probably doing the team's laundry after the double-header. Peee-yewww.

He also did a better job with the National Anthem than three-quarters of the people I hear singing it! :D

From what I've heard on the show, he used to be an opera singer. My favorite part was the heckler's line "Hey ump, i got your cell phone, you have a couple of missed calls, like THAT ONE RIGHT THERE!":laugh

Dirty Jobs is a great show... but I missed it. DJ used to be just something my wife and I turned on when there was nothing else on the big networks.... but it has grown into something we regulalry tune in to.

Not quite go out of our way to watch, or rearrange a schedule, but definitely a good show.

I suppose I'll catch it on a rerun...
