Just another sad story of someone whose career, and personal life, were destroyed by booze and/or drugs. He's not the first, nor, unfortunately, will he be the last. Frankly, I have no sympathy for these fools. No one held a gun to their heads to get them to start on the path to self-destruction. Sometimes a person gets addicted to prescription drugs, but if they don't seek help, it's difficult to feel sorry for them.

For once, I agree with Bob. ...although I think "fools" is a bit strong.
Glad to hear, though, he's trying to overcome the problem. Better late than never. Best of luck to you, Lary. :)
