HOF Ceremony 2007

Has anyone here been to a HOF Induction ceremony before?

My wife & I want to go to Cooperstown this year for Cal Ripken's induction ceremony. Never been there before. I understand the program itself is free but we are wondering about dealing with a huge crowd for that time. Would we be able to tour the museum and get a good seat for the ceremony? How early should we get there? Any info here would be helpful... thanks a lot!

My uncle went to the HOF induction of 1999, where was inducted Ryan, Brett, Yount and Cepeda, he went for the latter one specially. As of myself, I went the week after the HOF induction in 1995, great experience despite arriving to the states after that induction.

Ive never been for induction ceremony....I'll go when the first Jay gets inducted.....but you had better book soon......the city apparently fills up very quickly on induction weekend.

I was planning on going with my brother, a huge Ripken fan since he started playing. But life has kind of gotten in the way. Most places won't start booking until about a year in advance, and when I started looking last July, places were filling up quickly. Good luck.
