I think it was Bruce Hurst. He was 2-0 in the World Series.

Bruce Hurst is correct.
It was posted right about the same time the scoreboard put up in lights, "Congratulations Red Sox, 1986 World Series Champions."
I guess "ya gotta believe" didn't hold water with the scoreboard ops.
