Out of these two I think the only one that has a shot at 2008 is Frankie Liriano

Didnt the article say Prior was set to be ready and healthy for spring training? I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's a 15 game winner for the Cubs this season.

If Prior comes back the Cubs could win the NL Middle, that division isn't that good. The Cards got lucky, and they lost Suppan. I don't see that team playing like they did in the post season. The Astros lost alot, and they didn't do enough to replace their talent.

Priors already good to go for this season... Why do you say he won't be good for '08?

Liriano isn't coming back in 07'... as much as he may want to, he is a terrific talent, and the Twins want to rush nothing. 2008 will be his year.

As for Prior, he may be ready to go for this year, but he will not be as dominant as he once was. He really needs to get back into the groove, and he will certainly be back in his groove by 2008.

The two Cy Youngs for 2008...Mark Prior, and Francisco Liriano.

Liriano will be ready by August of this season. I remain optimistic, considering I was on top of the world in my fantasy league when I snagged him in a trade earlier in the year. Yeah, it was all going well until...the injury.

i dont think the twins will be rushing his rehab, since they already did that and he got injured again.
