When I played little league while growing up in Northern New Jersey I robbed a tater. BUT... I leaped to rob it over the fence, and landed sideways on the chain link fense. Bruised up the right side of my ribs pretty bad. I left the game. And the rest is history.

I'm still in my playing days, but I've always wanted to steal home.

Strike out 20 batters. I had a terrific fastball (the sort that's just wild and fast enough to fool your average high school batter) if I actually got it over the plate, a decent two-finger knuckler, and an illegal shineball that was the only pitch I ever really could control (which I will not explain how I threw due to guilt unless you PM me with a very good reason). I was a straight-across sidearmer, too. Not too many of them in the high school league; everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, threw three quarters or overarm. I was a strikeout pitcher, and 20 was my goal. I K'd 17 during one game (pitching against a team that finished 2-23), but that was the closest I got. Not to mention, I blew my arm out over three years ago.

I would have lovedto throw a no-hitter . . . and win.
I threw a no-no in Little League and lost - a hit batsman, dropped 3rd strike, and a throwing error by my catcher resulted in a 1-0 loss in six innings. I remember being so upset that I cried.

The original post hit my two dreams right on the head:
Two outs, bases loaded, bottom of the last inning, an me up. Running the count to 3 and 2 and hitting the next pitch over the center field fence to win by one run.
Would have also liked to pitch a no-no. Closest I ever came was 17 K's in a 5-0 shutout in high school.

I hit a walkoff HR when I was like 9 or 10. Always wanted to steal home.

Six innings? LL? There are no dropped third strikes in LL in the six inning games.

You were good enough to strike out 17 of 21 outs in high school but couldn't throw a no-hitter at any level?

I fully believe it was a one time deal for me. Throughout the rest of my pitching, I never struck out over 9 in a game again.
